He is also qualified to level 4 as a sports massage therapist, with membership to the Sports Massage Association. Trevor has an extensive background in Physiotherapy from working with athletes at all levels from disciplines such as gymnastics, triathlon and mixed martial arts. Trevor was also employed with Middlesbrough football club for 6 years with the academy and first team squad from 2007-2012.
Since leaving Middlesbrough FC Trevor has also worked with a variety of post surgical patients and those with chronic pain as well as screening patients to prevent the onset of injury. Trevor has gained vast experience in a variety of rehabilitation settings with different populations and he views this as a vital component in allowing the patient to take ownership over their treatment and long term progression.
Alongside working as a physiotherapist in clinical practice, Trevor is also currently employed as a lecturer in Physiotherapy at Teesside University. In addition to this, he has also published over 50 articles in relation to physiotherapy practice which allows him to continue his professional development and share his knowledge with others.
Trevor maintains his fitness in his spare time with a special interest in long distance swimming of which he has completed several marathon swims including the 11 mile windermere one way swim. Catherine is a registered Cranio Sacral Therapist and Physiotherapist. During her time in London she was a tutor at the London College of Cranio Sacral Therapy where she lectured and ran teaching clinics. She is a member of the Cranio Sacral Therapy Association, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
